Ingredients:
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 ½ c. Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2-1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- Chocolate Chips, to taste
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add eggs and vanilla
- Add dry ingredients
- Stir together well
- Add chocolate chips
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, (12-13 minutes for large) or until firm on the outside, but VERY soft on the inside
Variations:
Double Chocolate Chip
- Add 4 Tbs. Cocoa powder to recipe
- Use only 2c. flour. Add 2c. oatmeal and 1c. soaked raisins. To soak raisins, place them in boiling water before you begin baking. Drain off water; add to recipe. Mix well.
